Daizy is many things; she is a mother, a CEO, a filmmaker, and most importantly, a firm believer in her own strengths as a woman.
“It is my belief that if we don’t have compassion for others and step into
their shoes, then we are unable to truly serve our clients
and deliver the services they are seeking,” Daizy says.
Daizy has won multiple awards, delivered many inspiring speeches, and was acknowledged by both Lebanon and Australia for her brilliant achievements throughout her journey.
The horrific events occurring in Lebanon inspired her to return to journalism and filmmaking to investigate the reasons behind Lebanon’s recent economic and humanitarian crisis and make a documentary about it - ENOUGH! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour - produced by Dream Creations International, Daizy’s film production company.
The movie, or movement as Daizy calls it, premiered at The Marche du Film at The 2021 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the “Movie That Matters Award.” It has gone on to win more than 20 international film festival awards and has been featured at more than 40 film festivals.
What distinguishes Daizy is not her awards but the power she holds, making her resist stagnation and pushing her to strive for more growth no matter the difficulties she might encounter.
We, as GDR,
are writing this to show how proud we are to have Daizy guide us
through our journey, teach us how to learn from our mistakes, and seize
every possible opportunity that comes our way.
